Keto Lasagna Recipes

The keto diet is not too hard if you try different types of keto recipes to fulfill your taste and nutritional needs. In this article, we will provide you with different types of low-carb lasagna recipes which you can enjoy while on keto. 

Following are some of the delicious keto lasagna recipes in which each keto lasagna recipe provides you a good substitute for lasagna pasta. The following recipes also provide a little variation of lasagna filling which gives you uniqueness in each recipe. 

Low carb Zucchini Recipe


Zucchini 1 ½ large thinly sliced lengthwise

Olive oil 1 tablespoon

Ground beef 1 pound

Low carb marinara sauce 1 ½ cups

Salt 2 teaspoon divided

Dried oregano 1 teaspoon

Ground black pepper ½ teaspoon

Ricotta cheese 1 container

Egg 1

Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon

Mozzarella cheese 2 cups shredded divided

Parmesan cheese ¼ cup grateda

Cooking spray


  1. Preheat oven to 3750
  2. Take an 8-inch baking dish and grease it with cooking spray.
  3. Remove extra moisture from zucchini with a paper towel.
  4. Take a saucepan and add olive oil. Heat it on medium-high flame. 
  5. Now add grounded beef and cook for the next 5-8 minutes or until brown.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon salt, marinara, pepper, and oregano to the pan. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Now take a bowl and add the remaining salt, egg, ricotta cheese, and nutmeg, mix all ingredients well.
  8. Take a sprayed baking dish and layer zucchini slices. 
  9. Add half of the sauce and make another layer of zucchini slices.
  10.  Spread ricotta mixture then sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on the top of it.
  11.   Add the next layer of zucchini slices and add the remaining sauce.
  12.   Finally, top it with the remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. 
  13.  Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  14.  Bake lasagna for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  15.  Now remove the foil and bake again until the cheese turns golden for the next 15 minutes.

Keto lasagna cauliflower


Ground beef/Ground Turkey 1 pound

Yellow onions 1 ½ cups finely chopped

Garlic 3 cloves finely chopped

Tomato paste 2 tablespoon

Crushed tomato 1 2/3 cups

Red wine ½ cup

Salt 1 teaspoon

Black pepper ground

Butter 2 teaspoon

Cauliflower 2 pound

Eggs 4

Sea/ kosher salt ½ teaspoon

Parmesan cheese 1 ½ cup shredded

Sour cream 1 cup

Heavy whipping cream ½ cup


  1. Preheat the oven at 2000 C.  Place the parchment sheet in a baking dish and spray with oil.
  2. Take a pan and add butter on medium heat. Add onion and garlic and fry them.
  3. Put beef and cook until brown. Now add crushed tomato, tomato paste, and red wine.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper as per your taste and simmer it for the next 20 minutes.
  5.  Put the cauliflower in the chopper and finely grate it.
  6. Put the cauliflower in a bowl and cook it in the microwave oven on high for 2 minutes.
  7. Now stir it well and microwave it again for the next two minutes.
  8. Let it cool and place it in the baking cloth, and squeeze the liquid completely.
  9. Take a bowl, add cauliflower rice (chopped and dried) and add spices and eggs. 
  10.  Mix it well. Now spread it in the prepared baking dish and bake it for 15-20 minutes on the lower rack.
  11.  Remove the dish and let it cool. Now cut like a lasagna sheet.
  12.  Make a cheese sauce for lasagna by boiling heavy and sour cream. Put the flame off and add cheese. Stir it well and season it with salt and pepper.
  13.   Now layer all prepared items first with meat then lasagna sheets and top it with cheese sauce in an 8-inch baking dish.   
  14.  Top over the lasagna with parmesan cheese and bake it for 20-30 minutes.

Keto Lasagna Cabbage Recipe


Green cabbage 1 pound

Ground beef 2 pounds

Avocado oil 1 tablespoon

Garlic 1 clove minced

Salt ½ teaspoon

Pepper ½ teaspoon

Marinara sauce 2 cups, divided

Ricotta cheese 16 ounce

Mozzarella cheese 2 cups shredded, divided

Eggs 2

Dried parsley ½ teaspoon

Dried basil 1 teaspoon

Oregano ½ teaspoon

Onion powder ½ teaspoon

Garlic powder ½ teaspoon

Salt ½ teaspoon

Red pepper ¼ teaspoon crushed

Parmesan cheese 1/3 cup grated


  1. Preheat the oven to 3750 F.
  2. Take a big pot and add water. Bring it to a boil. Now add salt.  Cut the cabbage into 4 and remove the stem. Put it in the boiling water and let it boil until it looks translucent and tender. Drain it and let it cool.
  3. Take a large skillet, add oil and beef. Now cook it until it turns brown.
  4. Add garlic, pepper, salt, and half of the marinara sauce in the beef, mix well and set aside.
  5. Take a bowl and add ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese, and season it with salt and pepper.
  6. Take a large casserole dish for assembling.
  7. Spray the dish with oil and make a layer of cabbage.  
  8. Spread half of the cheese mixture over cabbage.
  9. Now make a layer of beef over cheese.
  10. Repeat all steps then finish it by topping the remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  11.   Cover the dish, bake it for 30 minutes and then remove the cover and again cook it for another 10 minutes.

Keto Lasagna with Spinach

Keto vegetarian lasagna with spinach and cheese is also very tasty. You can enjoy this lasagna with a fresh salad.


Spinach 10 ounces frozen chopped (thawed and drained)

Ground beef 1 pound

Onion chopped 2 tablespoon

Garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon

Spaghetti sauce ½ cup

Cream cheese 8 ounce

Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoon

Mozzarella cheese 4 ounces shredded

Egg 1

Pepper 1/8 teaspoon


  1. Take a pan. Add onion and brown the hamburger with it. Now drain off all the fat.
  2. Follow the steps from the 
  3. Now mix spaghetti sauce, garlic and season it. Let it simmer until bubbly.
  4. Take a bowl and soften the cream cheese by keeping it in the microwave for 60 seconds.
  5. Take out the bowl and stir it well until creamy. Now mix pepper and beaten egg.
  6. Mix well all the ingredients. Blend in the drained spinach.
  7. Now take a sprayed baking dish and spread a layer of meat mixture on the bottom.
  8. Now spread the spinach mixture over it.
  9. Top it with mozzarella cheese and repeat the layers.
  10. In the end, sprinkle parmesan cheese and bake it for 30 minutes at 350 0

Keto Lasagna with Chicken Slices


Sliced chicken ¾ pound (from deli counter)

Ground Beef 1 pound

Marinara Sauce 12 oz

Ricotta cheese 10 tablespoons

Mozzarella cheese 3 cups

Garlic powder, basil, and Oregano Optional

Olive oil 1 tablespoon


  1. Repeat step 1 of above-mentioned recipe
  2. Take a skillet, add beef in it and cook over medium-high heat. Cook until brown then season it with salt and pepper. 
  3. Now you can add optional seasoning, garlic powder, basil, and oregano. 
  4. Prepare the beef with the same method mentioned in the above recipes.
  5. When the meat is brown add seasoning of your choice.
  6. Add marinara sauce, mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and keep it aside.
  7. Layer all the ingredients in a casserole dish. 
  8. First layer beef on the bottom then add chicken slices and top it again with beef.
  9. Top it with some ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  10. Repeat all steps and end with a beef layer. 
  11. On the top spread remaining mozzarella cheese.
  12. Bake it for 15 minutes. 

Keto Lasagna with Low carb Tortillas


Olive oil 1 tablespoon

Ground beef 1 pound

Onion powder ½ teaspoon

Paprika ½ teaspoon

Dried oregano 2 teaspoon

Broth (chicken or beef) ¼ cup

Diced tomato 14.5 oz can

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Low carb tortillas 4 small

Shredded cheese ¼ cup

White sauce 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and prepare the dish.
  2. Take a large skillet, add oil and beef. Saute beef and add onion powder, paprika, and oregano. 
  3. Browned the beef and prepared it.
  4. When beef is brown then add tomato and broth. Add seasoning as per your taste and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Take a prepared baking dish and make a layer of tomato sauce.
  6. Now top it over with tortillas and beef mixture.
  7.  Pour white sauce over it and spread evenly.
  8. Bake it for 15 minutes and then sprinkle cheese and bake it again for 5 minutes.

Keto Lasagna Noodles with Almond Flour



Almond flour ¾ cup

Whey isolate 1 scoop

Salt ½ teaspoon 

Xanthan gum 1 teaspoon

Egg 1 large

Lasagna Filling

Beef 350g minced

Ricotta cheese ¾ cup

Mozzarella cheese 1.5 cups

Tomato sauce 1 cup (without sugar)


  1. Take a casserole dish, spray it with cooking oil, and spread the parchment sheet. Set it aside.
  2. Whisk together almond flour, whey isolate, salt, and xanthan gum in a mixing bowl.
  3. Now add egg to the bowl, mix all the ingredients well with a spatula and use your hands to knead it into a ball.
  4. Take a parchment sheet and roll the dough between them. If sticky, sprinkle some whey isolate.
  5.  Roll the keto lasagna noodles into 1/4 inch thickness.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into several rectangles (the length size of your casserole dish) by using a pizza cutter.
  7. Now take a pan and cook beef until brown over medium heat. 
  8. Cook the beef by following Keto Lasagna Cabbage Recipe step 3.
  9. Layer the noodles first in an already prepared casserole dish.  (follow step 1 of Keto lasagna cauliflower.
  10. Spread cooked beef on the top of noodles then layer half of the tomato sauce, then a layer of ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  11. Top it with the next layer of noodles and repeat all ingredients layers in the same way. 
  12.  Bake the dish in the oven for 25 minutes.

Keto Lasagna Delish

This recipe will provide the method to prepare noodles and then its lasagna.

Ingredients for Noodles

Cooking spray

Cream cheese 1 block

Eggs 3 large

Mozzarella cheese 2 cups shredded

Parmesan cheese ½ cup freshly grated

Kosher salt as per taste

Black pepper as per taste, freshly ground

Lasagna Filling

Take ingredients of Low carb Zucchini Recipe except for zucchini for beef filling.

Extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon

Yellow onion ½ chopped

Garlic cloves 3 minced 

Tomato paste 1 table spoon

Ground black pepper freshly ground

 beef 1 pound

Kosher salt

Marinara sauce 3/4 cups

Dried oregano 1 teaspoon

Red pepper flakes 1 pinch crushed

Ricotta cheese 1 container

Mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 cups shredded divided

Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup freshly grated

Parsely freshly chopped for garnish


  1. Take a casserole dish 8 inches, place a parchment sheet, and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. Preheat the oven at 350 0.
  3. Take a microwave-safe bowl. Add mozzarella, parmesan, and cream cheese together. Melt it in the microwave.
  4. Add eggs to the bowl and mix it well.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  6. Spread the prepared mixture onto a casserole dish. 
  7. Bake it for 15-20 minutes until golden and set. Set aside to let it cool.
  8. Take a large skillet, add oil and heat over medium heat.
  9. Add onion and cook until soft.
  10. Now add garlic in the pan and cook it for one minute or until fragrant. 
  11.  Add tomato pasted and mix it with well onion and garlic.
  12.  Now add beef to the pan, season it with pepper and salt and cook until brow. 
  13.  Drain off all the fat and put it again in the skillet.
  14. Add marinara sauce and season it with oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  15. Prepare the beef in the same way prepared in the zucchini recipe.
  16. Cut the noodle in half with the help of a pizza cutter.
  17. Cut each half further into 3 pieces.
  18.  Take a casserole dish and spread some sauce. 
  19. Now put 2 pieces of noodles at the bottom and top it over ricotta followed by beef and shredded cheese. 
  20.  Repeat the same way to layer the rest of the material.
  21. Bake it for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly.
